We continue to support, through sponsorship, the Coventry Charity Football Cup. We have recently released additional funds to carry out a re-fresh of its brand – a new logo and supporting material as well as a more up to date website. The Coventry Charity Football Cup has been in existence for over 100 years, founded in 1907 with a donation of a magnificent trophy given by the Coventry Nursing Trust.
The competition holds its final at the Ricoh Arena and is now the largest sporting charity in the West Midlands and Warwickshire, currently raising money for 16 charities, namely: The Coventry and District Amateur Fund, Bermuda & Stockingford Intensive Care Support, Community Broadcasting Services, Zoe’s Place, RSPCA, Coventry Deaf Sports and Social Club, Sycamore Counselling Services, The Acorns Children’s Hospital, The Island Project School, Coventry Resources Centre for the Blind, Mercia Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, Coventry and District Amateur Footballers Welfare Fund, The Life Past Trust, Mary Ann Evans Hospice, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, The RAFA Club.
Premier Group Chairman, Denis Meagher: “I am very proud of our continued support. The Cup supports a number of very worthy local charities and I am confident that we can improve up on the amount of money that we raise. Please become a ‘friend of the cup’ and help us raise money that is so crucially needed.”
If you are interested in becoming a ‘friend’, please call Chairman, Richard Aston, on: 07738 939303.
